2020 New Vocations Standardbred Stallion Auction
New Vocations’ 22nd Annual Stallion Auction will take place Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m., to Thursday, Feb. 6 at www.ongait.com. The auction will be conducted in an open-ended format that allows for bidding slightly beyond the 2:00 p.m. deadline if less than two minutes have elapsed since the last bid on a particular breeding.
Breedings to Trixton, Always A Virgin, Racing Hill, Yankee Cruiser and Jimmy Freight are among the 60+ seasons already donated to help rehab, retrain and rehome retired Standardbreds.
Participants are asked to be considerate and not bid for mares over 20, ones that have been barren two or more consecutive years, any due after May 10 and those that are already booked.

New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
New Vocations is proud to be the oldest and largest racehorse adoption program in the country, serving more than 600 retired racehorses a year.
Since our inception in 1992, we've carried out our mission to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome retired racehorses and placed more than 9,000 in adoptive homes. With nine facilities in Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, we continue to work with racing owners and trainers in need of aftercare options and with our adopters to find perfect homes for these most-deserving equine athletes.
