New Vocations' 28th Annual Stallion Auction
New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program will conduct its 28th Annual Stallion Auction via OnGait.com from February 3–5. The auction is a cornerstone fundraiser supporting the charity’s mission to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome nearly 100 retired Standardbred racehorses and broodmares each year.
The 2026 auction will offer an outstanding lineup of breedings, including rare opportunities to closed-book stallions Bulldog Hanover, Cattlewash, and Summa Cum Laude. In total, the auction will feature more than 50 stallions standing in nine states and Canada.
Although the auction is over, we still have some 2026 Breedings (Live Foal Guarantee) available for purchase from New Vocations.

“We are sincerely grateful to the many individuals and farms who generously support this fundraiser year after year,” said Dot Morgan, Founder of New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program. “Rehabilitating, retraining, and rehoming retired racehorses and broodmares requires a significant investment of time, expertise, and financial resources. The stallion auction provides a crucial part of that support.”

New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
New Vocations is proud to be the oldest and largest racehorse adoption program in the country, serving more than 600 retired racehorses a year.
Since our inception in 1992, we've carried out our mission to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome retired racehorses and placed more than 9,000 in adoptive homes. With nine facilities in Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, we continue to work with racing owners and trainers in need of aftercare options and with our adopters to find perfect homes for these most-deserving equine athletes.
