From Twin B Nickleback's owner: Twin B Nickleback is a 16.3 hand 12 year old dark bay Standardbred gelding. Nick was adopted 8 years ago as a 4-year-old from New Vocations. Nick's racing career ended early as he was unable to navigate the track turns effectively at speed. Nick, therefore, was never raced and has always been sound and barefoot with no injuries.

Nick is an easy keeper, holds on to weight, no vices. Likes to lead in turnout and on trails. Nick is very sensitive and is always tuning into his rider to look for reassurance and positive feedback. He is not for a beginner and requires an advanced rider who is confident and relaxed and has a kind and consistent training schedule as he can be a worrier and cannot handle rider mistakes. He would not do well with a rider who is anxious or reactive as he feeds off his rider's personality.

He has had extensive training and is loved by all who ride him. He has been shown training-level dressage. His canter gets better and better with consistent work.  He absolutely loves his person. He enjoys turnout and the quiet of his stall and would not do well in an only turnout situation. He leads with a simple rope halter and respects his handler. I am selling him after 8 years as I am unable to give him the attention he needs and loves any longer. I am willing to do a trial ride and meet if the interested party lives at a driveable distance. Nick is up to date on everything.
