2024 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover Eligible

• Leading and Ground Manners - Level 2  - Spin has a bold, bright personality and requires the occasional correction when leading. With a confident handler and plenty of consistency, he will surely settle into a more relaxed routine.

• Grooming and Tacking - Level 2  - Spin can be a bit of a wiggle worm in the crossties, but will stand happily for anyone who can spare a moment or two for face scratches. He is an absolute ham who is shameless in his pursuit of attention and love!

• Horse Care - Level 2 - He is currently wearing front glue-on shoes and does very well on our basic feeding ration.

• Riding - Level 1 - 2  - Spin is a naturally athletic, eye-catching mover with a puppy dog personality! Since he’s just coming back into work, he can be a bit heavy on the forehand and needs plenty of conditioning, but he’s shown a few moments of greatness that give us a glimpse into his fabulous potential. He does seem to prefer a more “hands-off” approach from his rider and is exceptionally quiet once he finds his rhythm!

• General Demeanor - Level 2 -3 - There are very few things that Spin enjoys more than a rousing jaunt around the field with his buddies. As one would expect, he likes to call the shots in his turnout group and does well with geldings who can match his energy!

• Physical Capability* - Level  2 - 3 - We could see this guy lighting up the jumper ring with the right partner! As always, veterinary records are available to interested and approved adopters.

*Assessments are based on information provided by the donors, physical/ mental assessments done by our professional team, as well as any veterinary examinations done at the farm (as needed). Approved, prospective adopters are welcome to arrange and coordinate a PPE if they choose, after speaking with the trainer at the respective facility of the horse. Adopters may also elect to use the 60-day trial period to thoroughly vet and assess the fit of the horse at their barn to ensure a great match!
