Mr. Gray will see you now… to decide if YOU are worthy to become his new human. “Monster” as he is known around the barn is a stakes winner looking to prove himself (or just get praised some more).

Monster has loads of personality. He demands constant attention and will need an adopter who can devote all their time to making sure he is comfortable and living his best life. He has been known to be obnoxious if his needs are not met and is not above pawing your drinks and pens off the table or sitting on your donut boxes or important papers. Monster is currently barefoot and only likes to be outside when it is convenient for him. A home that has a run in barn attached to his pasture would be his ideal set-up.

Monster is very brave and has a lot of ego when working. He has three lovely gaits and is the perfect mix of whoa and go. His trot and canter are both long and ground covering with a beautiful flat expression. Between his striking gray coat and his level topline, Monster is a very desirable hunter prospect. We could easily see this former track champion cleaning up at the rated shows against the fancy imported cats.

Monster is suitable for an advanced intermediate rider working with a trainer. He retired sound with no known injuries. His ideal adopter would be a show home so that he can continue to live life at his preferred level of comfort.

Mr. Gray is suitable for the Retired Racecat Project’s 2020 Makeover.
