Go-Getter Gelding Ready to Roll!

Daylyn Ryeson is a charismatic guy who took quickly to his new job under saddle. With his animated and ambitious way of going, we can see him having success in endurance riding, showing or gaming, but we do know he'll try his hardest for whatever his adopter chooses!

• Leading and Ground Manners- Level 1 Daylyn leads in a simple halter and cotton lead rope, He likes to stay cozy with his handler and will follow you around no halter at all!
• Grooming and Tacking- Level 1 Daylyn will stand patiently in the crossties to be groomed and saddled. He is polite for handling his feet as well.
• Horse Care- Level 1 Daylyn currently wears basic front shoes and maintains well on our regular rations.
• Riding- Level 1 Daylyn is a forward moving guy who focuses quickly on the task at hand.  Though he raced at the pace, under saddle he prefers to trot, and we have started working on his canter as well.
• General Demeanor- Level 1 Daylyn is quiet and polite in both the barn and turnout. He loves people and is a bit of a treat hound.  In turnout he has buddied up with another younger gelding, but gets along well with everyone, and isn't likely to challange a herd boss.
• Physical Capability- Level 2 Daylyn did have an injury to his coffin bone in his last race, and currently wears front shoes for extra support.  It has healed well and should not limit him in his future endeavors, but we don't see him as a high level jumping horse.
