You Are Sure To Fall for This "Hunk"!

Hunkalicious, aka "Hunky" is a darling black gelding with a cuddly personality, he's easy to fall in love with! This little guy is young, but curious and has been up to every challenge we've thrown at him.  Add in his dashing good looks, and jet-black coat and you have the perfect partner!

• Leading and Ground Manners- Level 1 Hunky is easy on the ground leading in a regular halter and cotton lead rope.
• Grooming and Tacking- Level 1 Hunky stands quietly in the crossties for grooming and tacking, though if he's been standing a long time he may get a little fussy.
• Horse Care- Level 1 Hunky is currently barefoot and maintains well on our regular rations
• Riding- Level 1 Hunky took quickly to riding and aims to please!  He raced at the pace, but under saddle so far prefers to trot. He has offered up a canter on the lunge line and we could see him shining in the show ring!  He also has braved the outdoors with ease and was happy to wander around the property alone. He may occasionally stop to check things out, but doesn't have a big reaction and is responsive to his rider.
• General Demeanor- Level 1 Hunky is a chill guy in the barn and goes with the flow on everything.  He soaks up attention from everyone who walks in and has no stall vices.  In turnout Hunky is low key and tends to buddy up with some of the quieter horses.
• Horse Physical Capability- Level 3 Hunky had a sore tendon after his last race, but has no tears or bows that would cause long-term issues.  He would be suitable for most careers.
