Full To The Brim is Sure to Fill Up Your Heart with Joy!

"Fillup" is the best baby horse in the barn!  He is curious, cuddly, and excited to explore the world around him.  In spite of his star-studded pedigree, Fillup just didn't have the desire for racing and comes to you a clean slate, ready to tackle any new discipline!

• Leading and Ground Manners- Level 1 Fillup is easily led in a regular halter and cotton lead rope.  Sometimes he gets distracted by the world around him and may need reminded to keep up with you.
• Grooming and Tacking- Level 1 Fillup stands quietly in the crossties and is easy to tack up.  Like many babies sometimes he will get fussy if he feels like he's been standing too long.
• Horse Care- Level 1 Fillup is currently barefoot and maintains well on our regular rations.
• Riding- Level 1 Fillip really is the best baby! Although riding is very new, he has already learned to stand nicely at the crossties and go to work under saddle.  He has shown us walk, trot, pace and canter undersaddle, and could be developed however his rider chooses, but he has a beautiful trot and a lovely low-headed way of going that would make him stand out in the show ring.  Like many young horses he is still learning to balance with a rider and will take time to develop steadiness and rhythm. He will stop to check out 'scary' things, but isn't overly reactive or spooky.
• General Demeanor- Level 1 Fillup is quiet in the barn, loves to interact with people, horses and dogs, and has no vices. In turnout he tends to be lower in the pecking order and is just happy to be included!
• Physical Capability- Level 3 Fillup retired with no known injuries and is suitable for all future careers!
