Description
2026 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover Eligible
Maximus was built to be a sport horse, not a racehorse. With his striking good looks, powerful “gym bro” build, and naturally athletic way of going, he has all the ingredients to excel in a second career. Even better, he comes to us with no known injuries or limitations, giving him a clean slate to develop into a phenomenal partner in just about any discipline.
He’s brand new here and still settling into the routine, but he’s already turning heads in the barn. We’re excited to get him started under saddle soon and can’t wait to share updates as this talented guy begins his next chapter!
New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
New Vocations is proud to be the oldest and largest racehorse adoption program in the country, serving more than 600 retired racehorses a year.
Since our inception in 1992, we've carried out our mission to rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome retired racehorses and placed more than 9,000 in adoptive homes. With nine facilities in Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, we continue to work with racing owners and trainers in need of aftercare options and with our adopters to find perfect homes for these most-deserving equine athletes.
