Big and Elegant Trotting Gelding

Stitch In Time is a big, classy gelding with a cool demeanor and beautiful way of going.  His sweeping stride and uphill carriage screams "dressage" to us, plus he already knows how to canter! However with his kind personality we know he would excell in a variety of disciplines!

• Leading and Ground Manners- Level 1 Stitch is quietly led in a regular halter and lead rope and he is easy to work with on the ground
• Grooming and Tacking- Level 1 Outside of occasionally showing off how tall he is when it is time to bridle him, Stitch has no issues around grooming or tacking.
• Horse Care- Level 1 Stitch is barefoot and has excellent feet, happily cleans up all his hay and grain and has no injuries of note.
• Riding- Level 1-2  Stitch had some reservations about the mounting block initially and will occasionally stop to look at something new, but generally is a pretty straightforward ride and very willing to do what is asked of him.  We have started adding small trail rides to his routine and he is doing well with cars passing on the road.  He will go out alone willingly and doesn't get too ruffled by leaving his buddies.
• General Demeanor- Level 1-2 Stitch may take a few days to fully settle into his new environment, but he warms up to new people and new horses quickly and makes himself at home.  He is happy to go for a ride or do ground work.  He is currently turned out with a group of geldings, but usually just hangs with one other horse.  His one bad habit is when it is time to come in, he does like to play a bit of "keep away".  With patience (and sometimes a carrot) he will let you catch him to come in.
• Horse Physical Capability- Level 4 With no limiting injuries, and his willingness to canter, Stitch can take you just about anywhere you'd like to go!

It didn't take long for Stitch to steal our hearts, we know he will quickly steal yours as well!
