New Vocations to Host 22nd Annual All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show in Aiken, SC

May 19, 2025 – LEXINGTON, KY – New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program is set to host its 22nd Annual All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show from May 30 – June 1 at Highfields Event Center in Aiken, SC. Proudly returning as title sponsor is Heider Family Stables, a long-time supporter of the organization’s mission and Thoroughbred aftercare efforts.

“We’re thrilled and honored to have Heider Family Stables as our title sponsor again this year,” said Anna Ford, New Vocations’ Thoroughbred Program Director. “Scott and Cindy Heider have supported New Vocations and our show for years, and their ongoing commitment means the world to us.”

As New Vocations’ largest annual fundraiser, the event plays a crucial role in promoting the versatility and adaptability of retired racehorses. With support from the Indiana HBPA and Ohio HBPA as Day Sponsors—alongside many generous industry donors—the show promises to be a vibrant celebration of Off-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs).

The event will offer a variety of classes for Thoroughbreds, including hunter, jumper, combined test, pleasure, in-hand, dressage and western. A highlight of the show is the Specialty Thoroughbred Awards, which celebrate the OTTBs’ achievements during their racing careers. More than 180 Thoroughbreds from across the Southeastern U.S. are expected to compete.

“We are excited to welcome Thoroughbreds and their exhibitors back to compete and connect with others who share the same love and passion for the breed,” Ford said. “The support we have received for this year’s show has been simply amazing. So many Thoroughbred owners, breeders, trainers, industry partners and fans have become show sponsors.”

All sponsorships, exhibitor fees and funds raised go directly towards New Vocations’ mission of rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses.
