Two New Vocations Graduates Impressed at the 2022 T.I.P. Championships in Aiken

New Vocations Graduates had an impressive weekend at the 2022 T.I.P. Championships at Stable View October 6 - 7! New Vocations adoptees who competed included Soft N Lovely, King Kongrats, Ready to Show and Win the Shake.

Ready to Show, adopted from New Vocations’ Lexington facility in 2021 with eyes set on the hunter/jumper ring, ended up exceeding his adopter’s expectations! This flashy gelding by More than Ready was named Champion in the Beginning Hunter 2'3" Championship Division with 24 points and Reserve Champion of the Very Green Hunter 2'0" Championship Division.

But this 4 year old dark bay didn’t stop there! Ready to Show was also entered in the TCA/TAA Aftercare Organization Graduate In-Hand class for geldings. These classes were open to Thoroughbreds adopted from a 2022 Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance accredited organization. Ready to Show impressed all eyes with another 1st place ribbon, and was named Champion of the In-Hand Championship Division!

Ready to Show, affectionately called “Max”, is described as having “zero ego or concept of how good he is” by his adopter, Katie. “He’s just a kind hearted baby doing his best for his Mom.” Max has a forever home with Katie, who is excited to see him continue to “blow expectations out of the water”.

Win the Shake was adopted from New Vocations’ Lexington facility in 2020 for a second career in the hunter/jumper ring. The 2016 mare who raced 3 times in her career won 2 of her classes in the Special Hunter 2'6" Championship Division amongst a long list of competitors, placing 4th overall. She also placed 1st in the In-Hand 6yo and Older Mares and 4th in the In-Hand Championship Division.
